The North Bermondsey Community Support Network is a group of more than 150 volunteers working to help fellow ward residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are available to assist those who cannot leave their homes with tasks which include: arranging deliveries, picking up shopping and medication, topping up electric and gas keys, posting mail and making support phone calls to those struggling with social isolation.
We cannot provide medical services. If you need medical assistance, contact the NHS on 111 or emergency services on 999.
Our mission is to provide support to those living in the North Bermondsey Ward by taking on non-specialist community tasks to assist the homebound during the COVID-19 pandemic, thereby relieving pressure on frontline aid organisations.
The North Bermondsey Community Support Network believes that all ward residents should be able to live comfortable and meaningful lives, and we aim to provide services that will allow residents to maintain their standard of living during the current crisis.
